A simple walk produces a pattern of leaves

I was walking back from the library where I had been doing some research and sketching for my circus collection when I happened upon some fallen eucalyptus leaves on the sidewalk. They all had such different shapes and were perfectly flat which intrigued me. I picked them up and brought them home.Then after a jaunt on my scanner, and a little alakazam and abracadabra...

...A pattern is born!

It's a Circus!

My latest design comes from some fun characters that popped up in my sketch book a while back. I'm giving them the spot light to shine in my latest pattern design. Hope you like "Circus Party!"
